Why Share Faith?
Verses >
Here’s what scripture says about sharing OUR Faith (and not just keeping it to ourselves) >
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
16 And he told them this parable: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest. 17 He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’
18 “Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store my surplus grain. 19 And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.”’
20 “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’
21 “This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.”
13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?”
14 They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
15 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”
16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
How to Share Faith
Share Faith Goals
Question: Who have you shared life with, and can now begin sharing about your faith story with? What are your biggest barriers to sharing faith right now?
Pray: Ask the Holy Spirit who God is highlighting to you. How could you share your faith with that person?
Ideas >
- Let your friends / colleagues know you're a Christian
- Bring Church up in conversation about your week

- Follow up on something you prayed for them
Always pray >

Pray about the goals you've set, and for each other if you're gathering together.
