A note from John
We know that many Christians struggle to share their faith saying “I don’t have the answers , how can I be involved in Jesus sharing?”.
We believe we have found a way that every one of us can be included in being significantly used by God to see people discover Jesus.
Why do we say this? Because after 30 years of walking with Christ seeing literally 10’s of 1000’s saved through my 25 years at CAP and seeing so many involved in the i61m journey that its Ok to say “I don’t know the answer to that, however your interest to find out more is great, let’s journey this together”.
We will recommend courses such as Alpha, freedom in Christ and other discipleship tools that will help you walk alongside those who are seeking and support them to find answers together.
My experience tells me that very few people, if anyone, is drawn into a deep relationship with Christ through getting answers to what can be endless questions. Finding faith is an act of faith, believing in who Jesus is, why he loves each of us.
There is grace for not knowing and we encourage everyone journeying with us to focus on sharing their faith experience.
We understand that with sharing will naturally come questions so why not think about the answers to these questions so you’ll be ready to give an answer when people ask (1 Peter 3:15).
What does Jesus mean to you?
How has His love transformed you?
What’s it been like to journey through some dark times?
Give an explanation for the hope within you.

Here are some potential questions with bible references we hope will help you to come to more answers. Why not discuss them in your group and help each other find the answers they need…
John 3:16-17 – For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
1 John 4:9 – This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
1 John 4:15 – If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God.
Mark 9:35-37 – Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, “Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all.” He took a little child whom he placed among them. Taking the child in his arms, he said to them, “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.
2 Corinthians 12:9 – But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
James 4:6 – But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favour to the humble.”
Numbers 6:24-26 – “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”
Ephesians 2:4-5 – But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved
Ephesians 1:7-8 – In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace 8 that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding
John 3:16-17 – For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
1 Peter 2:24 – “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”
Isaiah 53:5 – But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
1 Peter 3:18 – For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.
Ephesians 2:6-10 – And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Romans 10:9-10 – Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
Romans 10:13 – For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
John 14:6 – Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Reminder: Try not to worry about being asked questions you don’t know the answer to. Encourage them to journey their questions; don’t feel it is your responsibility to give all the answers. It is the experience of God not knowledge of Him that will draw them closer to Him.
There are also some incredible resources that can give more information if someone is seeking to know more about God, here are a few that you could look at together…
